I use a strengths-based, culturally responsive, holistic, eclectic framework to provide personalized care to clients. Considering the impact of the intersectionality of each client is at the core of my professional work.
The modalities I use to support my clients
Gestalt Therapy
The use of chairwork can help with unfinished business, conflicted feelings, decision-making, processing past trauma and working with different parts of self. It is experiential in nature.
Gottman Therapy
An evidence-based therapy for couples to see their relationship grow in the areas of communication, respect, affection and intimacy.
Person-Centred Therapy
In this therapy, the client's self-actualizing ability is supported by the therapist's unconditional positive regard, empathy and authenticity.
Psychodynamic Therapy
A modality focused on understanding patterns and reactions by linking past experiences to present realities, facilitating client insight and self-awareness.
Solution-Focused Therapy
An evidence-based therapeutic approach that focuses on building solutions through talk therapy and making small changes between sessions. This is a suitable option for short-term or goal-directed therapy.
Skills-Based Therapy
A suitable approach for common Millenial issues such as perfectionism, people-pleasing and poor boundaries. Skills-based CBT is used to facilitate improvement in executive functioning in individuals with ADHD.
